Cast Light Productions promises to be the first and only full scale production facility in North Alabama designed specifically for developing quality productions for the life Jesus wants us to live. It’s not a church organization, but a concept that brings together the same values and principles a place of worship usually brings. Many talented professionals live and work in this area. They all have the knowledge to perform at a level of excellence that rivals anyone in the business. Our plan is to bring the Christians of these professionals into our Co-Op and produce some great work. We hope to find ones who are looking for something more meaningful to channel their talent, The Cast Light Christian Film Co-Op will be here for them.

Our goal is to produce quality programs using the best talent available and affordable at the time. We will keep utilizing freelance professionals, local talent and outside production post and pre-production companies until we have assembled all the major elements to eventually do everything ourselves in house. With computer power and camera technology becoming better and better with less and less upfront costs the time is now to assemble the pieces.  

The production facility will have all the departments necessary for a complete studio.  Each department will serve the production with all the resources available at the time. At this time we have an HD camera, lights, editing computers and a production trailer filled with various grip equipment and production necessities. Our productions are limited to this set of equipment and can only take on the quality level that set of tools will allow.  With that said we are doing some exceptional work with what we have, but we will always strive to improve the equipment and supply all the departments everything they need to produce a quality product.

I have committed my full time to this project.  I pray every day that this humble organization will grow into the epic vision of service to God. There are many people who live and work in our community who have the knowledge and passion to make a difference.  Together we can do this; I know it because God has been saying this to me all my life. Working all these years in the film, video and engineering business ,  I could not see where God was taking me, but now I know all my studies, experiences and expert knowledge have been for this purpose all along. 

I have experience directing, shooting, editing and producing films.  I worked  engineering issues and projects for government customers. I built  studios and production suites while working as an independent AV consultant with Packard Engineering. I have maintained million dollar budgets for other companies. I can work with, managers, engineers and other creative professionals with ease. I truly love honest Christian people, who know what it takes to build a quality product all for glory of God.

This is not a fantasy. This is a true vision from God and I am excited to build this for him.
